As a member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team from 1995-2002, Ryan competed on the World Cup Circuit and won several international competitions in Europe, Asia and North America. After becoming both Canadian champion and North American champion in 1997, Ryan experienced a series of injuries, which inspired him to become a therapist — one that could help by using hands-on therapy, nutrition, exercise, and counselling.

In 2006, Ryan graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, providing him with the foundation he needed to understand both disease and optimum health in an integrated fashion. His experiences as an international athlete and as an exercise specialist have brought him in contact with many talented individuals and groups. It has pushed him to experience a level of physical health that he wishes to share with others.
