Dr Oughtred's sports medicine practice is strongly rooted in exercise.  In order to address the cause of mechanical problems, movement must be addressed.  Moreover, in order to address movement, you have to have years of experience studying how the body works as well as years of practical experience applying what you learn to your own body.
Dr Oughtred and his network of personal trainers 'walk the talk', and are able to motivate and inspire you to reach your health goals.

All exercise programs are based upon a rational assessment that always includes a functional movement screen, range of motion and postural assessment, basic assessment of strength, and advanced performance assessment for some individuals. 

For elite athletes, Dr Oughtred offers adjunctive exercise programs that help you target specific weaknesses that are holding you back.  These programs complement your existing conditioning program that you may already have.

We educate our clients on how to work out on their own and manage their health without the need for a personal trainer.  In the end, we hope that our patients are responsible for their own health.
